Lenore Horowitz

Instructional Design Coach (Teach22)

Lenore Horowitz is the Instructional Design Coach for the Teach22 Project, a collaboration between ITLAL, ITS, and the Department of Informatics. Her work at ITLAL centers on assisting and consulting with instructors concerning online teaching and learning. Her focus is on developing and producing multimedia and other materials for online courses and exploring the use of new tools and processes for online course enhancement. Her professional interests also include technology based higher education curricula structure, the use of open content in higher education, and online learning programs. An educational professional with more than twenty years' experience in higher education face-to-face, blended, and online learning environments, she is currently a full-time teaching faculty member in the Informatics Department at UAlbany. Lenore is an active member of the higher education community serving the Open SUNY Provost's Advisory Team and the SUNY Provost's FACT2 Advisory Council. In addition to her Ph.D. degree in Information Science from UAlbany, she also holds a B.S. from University at Buffalo in Mathematics & Statistics and a M.S. in Computer Engineering from UMass Lowell.
